The self made man

The self taught man seldom knows anything accurately, and he does not know a tenth as much as he could have known if he had worked under teachers, and besides, he brags, and this is the means of fooling other thoughtless people into going and doing as he himself has done.

Mark Twain

Personal observation - "How very true!" *sigh*

If we were to know everything perfectly, we would have been, may be, GOD! Schooling is a systemized process to learn(??) things, but seeking knowledge is not limited by school, there are thousand other ways to learn. very true, teachers taught you what they believe is knowledge!

How true!! It brought back all the memories of grueling thesis typing days under Dr.Barry. I lost a bunch of hair just by thinking about my advisor!!!
